Gigi

This lovely little lady is Gigi. Her mum commissioned me to do a pet portrait of her. 

First I drew out a basic pencil sketch to get the placement of the features right. Once that was done it was time for the pen and ink. This is when the piece really comes to life!

And with a dash of watercolor, i'm done! I really enjoy doing pet portraits and getting to "meet" new animals. Gigi was a lot of fun to draw - i hope she approves of my illustration!
