ice storm

There was a big ice storm that hit maine and NH thursday night. We woke up to no power and an icy wonderland. At first i thought it was pretty. But after two long days of no power and freezing temperatures, i decided i'm fine with not ever seeing an ice storm again.

snow day!

It snowed for the first (real) time of the year yesterday. And boy, was it pretty!

We woke up to find ourselves in a winter wonderland.
It was that pretty, light, fluffy snow where you can see all the different flakes.

The Public Gardens in Boston were very picturesque.

My mom and i stumbled upon the public gardens when we got lost on our way to the Bizarre Bazaar at the Castle. The bazaar was a lot of fun, but a little overwhelming. If i manage to get in next year as a vendor, i'll have to have someone with me to keep me from going crazy. There were so many people! But there was a lot of cool stuff to look at and it was a lot of fun.

happy thanksgiving (yesterday)

I'm sort of hoping this pumpkin will just disintegrate and fall through the slats in the porch. We shall see...
